Nice shop on Lakeshore ave to do personal or gift giving ideas. Most goods are locally made and produced with SJ being the furthest from bay area. Creative wooden pieces and artwork are among some of the sought after for home furnishings. There's not much for kids, but school supplies is high in demand. When was the last time you pick up a pencil sharpener made of wood or eraser made from eco-friendly materials? It's not limited to non-edible, but coffee beans by Bicycle Roasters and pure local honey can be had too. Don't be surprised if you see other local companies that sells their ware. That's why it's Bay-Made. There's something for everyone even if you don't plan on shopping for anything just yet. The thought of knowing they're there will increase your chances going back. Personally I love this type of shops because its community driven and support local artists.

I ordered a spa gift box for my mom for Mother's Day, my mom just got it and loves it! This shop is great, with a super cute shop cat, and they have excellent customer service!

My absolute favorite place in the neighborhood to shop for gifts, plants, art supplies, and jewelry. I've been shopping here since 2018 and have bought some things that really last — from a few planters and succulents to prints to a naturally-dyed scarf that I wear all the time. Bonus in non-COVID times, I took a fun drawing class here! Definitely recommend this neighborhood gem.

Always fun to stop by and check out the ever changing variety of fun and colorful artworks and supplies! There’s always something new that catches the eye, and many upcoming store events to come back for. What a great Lake Merritt neighborhood gem that showcases the talent and creativity of the entire Bay Area.

They always have a great collection of goods made by Bay area artists, ranging from art prints to pottery, to leather goods, etc. They also offer classes, which are reasonably priced and very fun. I've done the modern calligraphy and block printing classes and really enjoyed them. I've visited Bay Made at least 10 times and always find something interesting.

For the past 6 years, I have partnered with Sarajane and Bay-Made to create gift boxes for my firm's clients. Sarajane is great at thinking, literally, outside the box with me. Her access to local artisans and interesting goods and goodies translates to unique and welcome gifts. She's the BEST!

Bay made sells unique artistic goods, and has a number of very fun evening classes. I've taken the calligraphy, print making, and screen printing classes and they were all fantastic!

Fantastic gift shop! Everything is made by bay area artists which is an awesome angle. Very nicely curated collection. I've been there a few times and always come away with a few pieces that have been very well received! Also, we sent our 5-year-old to an art-camp in the back room: the teacher was great and the art they made was frame-worthy! well, in that really-good-5-year-old-art way :-).

I love popping into Bay-Made when I am in the area! They have been my go to spot for gifts (and treats for myself!). I appreciate how Bay-Made features local artists and art/decor that feels true to the East Bay. One of my most treasured pieces of art is a poppy print I picked up from them a couple years back!
